AI for Social Impact Roundtable 1 – Turning Data into Impact

About the event
AI for Social Impact Roundtable 1 – Turning Data into Impact
The AI for Social Impact roundtable will bring together NGO leaders working with urban slum communities to explore how we can move from being data-rich but insight-poor to truly data-empowered, and discuss the evolving role of AI in that journey.
We’ll also be showcasing our ongoing work on a Community Map of urban slum communities in India, powered by a Small Language Model (SLM) that makes local data usable, accessible, and actionable for NGOs.
Panelists:
Venkatraman Iyer, Founder, Swabhimaan Trust
Sangna Lakshmi, Co-founder, Step Up for India
Aditi Durgapal-Dubey, Research Manager, Myna Mahila Foundation.
