Daan Se Udaan

Hosted by Self Reliant India (SRI) Fri, 02 Oct 2026 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM IST

About this event

Daan Utsav, India’s annual festival of giving, is celebrated nationwide from October 2 to October 8 every year.

  • What it is: Formerly known as the Joy of Giving Week, it is a crowdfunded, open festival where people donate their time, money, materials, or skills.
  • When it happens: It always kicks off on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) and runs through October 8.
  • Who participates: Individuals, schools, colleges, NGOs, and corporate teams organize independent events, drives, and acts of kindness.

This year, we invite you to celebrate the joy of giving with Self Reliant India (SRI).
