About this event

dus spoke India Inc 2026 is the third annual flagship study by Give Grants (Give's strategic CSR advisory arm) that analyzes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) trends, practitioner insights, and the evolution of social impact capital in India.

Key Findings from the 2026 Report

  • Scale of Spend: India Inc. spent ₹41,000 crore on CSR in FY25, growing from ₹10,000 crore in FY15, and is projected to exceed ₹1.1 lakh crore annually within the next decade (by FY35).
  • High Concentration: CSR capital remains heavily centralized; the top 200 companies account for 49% of the total CSR spend.
  • Proportion vs. Government: At ₹41,000 crore, CSR represents roughly 1.6% of total government social sector spending, highlighting its role as a catalyst rather than a replacement for state funding.
  • Global Comparison: Corporate giving across India (0.9% of profits), the US (1.2%), France, and China sits within a narrow band of 0.6% to 1.4% of profits, showing that cultural and statutory frameworks drive giving differently.
  • Specialization & Leadership: 44% of CSR leaders in large companies now hold formal education or certifications relevant to the sector.
  • Voices & Collaboration: The 2026 edition aggregates insights from 67 CSR leaders and 200 NPO leaders, alongside a decade of filings from over 29,000 companies.
