Science of Learning & Development (SoLD) Workshop

Agenda: Join us for an in-person workshop for educators to explore the Science of Learning and Development (SoLD). Together, we’ll unpack the SoLD framework, anchor it in your classroom’s context, and use it to redesign a student experience.

In this hands-on workshop, educators will explore Transcend’s Science of Learning and Development (SoLD) framework, which is a practical toolkit that translates research from neuroscience, psychology, and cognitive science into actionable design principles for teachers.

Key Takeaways: Participants will immerse themselves in the framework and then use these research-backed principles to audit an existing lesson plan, identify opportunities to improve it, and redesign it using the SoLD toolkit. They will leave with a reworked lesson plan and practical teaching strategies they can adapt and use in their own classrooms.
